Mama Killa's History
Meet Mama Killa, our New Earth Shaman, whose deep connection to ancient wisdom and nature guides us toward healing and purpose. 'Mother Moon' shares insights from diverse cultures, creating a sacred space for growth and spiritual connection
Mama Killa
Mama Killa, known in her daily life as Orfa Pinedo, but lovingly called Orfita, is an Inca shaman deeply rooted in the ancestral traditions of the Andean Amazon in Peru. Born into the proud Chachapoyas culture, her legacy is marked by a profound connection to nature and the spiritual practices of the "Warriors of the Clouds."
From a young age, Mama Killa was guided by her father, a naturalist doctor who combined traditional medicine with spirituality to heal his patients. This influence awakened in her a deep passion for natural healing and ancestral medicine.
Throughout her life, Mama Killa has complemented her shamanic heritage with solid academic training. At 20, she became a Licensed Nurse and later completed a Master’s in Public Health. She has also expanded her expertise in natural medicine, education, psychology, and nutrition, creating a unique fusion between ancient health practices and modern science. This blend of ancestral wisdom and modern knowledge defines her as a “New Earth Shaman.”
